The release also pointed to the Canada Carbon Rebate for Small Businesses, including examples of payments for eligible businesses in Ontario, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
The government proposed extending the filing deadline for eligible businesses to receive the Canada Carbon Rebate for Small Businesses from July 15, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
For small businesses, the relevance is cost and cash flow: card fees, rebate timing, and filing deadlines can affect operating margins and after-tax resources.
